Getting started
DataTako actually offers two methods to get started. Lets take a look at the different options and figure out what fits your organisation best.
Connect to your own Power BI environment
DataTako is a plug and play solution that directly connects to your existing Power BI / Fabric environment. We recommend using a Fabric Capacity, because this includes the technology called ‘Power BI embedded’, which is what DataTako uses.
It’s also possible to connect DataTako to your environment without a capacity, but please note that in the future a capacity will be required at some point.
Hosted by DataTako
Let us do the heavy lifting. With DataTako fully hosted, you don’t need your own Power BI tenant. We provide the complete, ready-to-go environment so you can start sharing insights instantly. In this option we provide you with a Power BI account to use to upload reports, setup a Power BI gateway and any other configuration you would normally do from your own environment.
