Whitelabeling – custom domain

Do you want to use your own URL to access DataTako? That is possible by setting up a custom domain.

This is totally free of charge and we handle the SSL security certificate for you!

Open the domain configuration by navigation to: https://app.datatako.com/settings/?subtab=login&tab=domain

Please note: you must own the domain name, because you have to add a DNS record.

Enter a (subdomain) name that you would like to use, for example: reporting.mydomain.com and press the use this domain button.

Afterwards you’ll see that you need to add one CNAME record to your DNS panel with the value app.datatako.com.

It might take up to 24 hours before the configuration is recognized. Check back once in a while with the validate DNS configuration button. Once the DNS configuration is valid, you are able to access the application through your configure domain.

Using your own domain enforces your custom styling directly when navigation to your own URL.
